Homemade Sweet Candy Scrub - Chocolate Review

I have such a longgg and tiring week. Finally it's done, yes, all of my works and papers. Thanks God it's Friyay ! Now, I have time to review my currently favorite scrub from @sweetcandyscrub . Well, if you do follow my blog, I've review some of homemade-natural skincare, even I've posted all of my favorite natural cares on my instagram. So... when @sweetcandyscrub said they want me to review their scrub, I can't say no, of course !

Minggu ini bener-bener melelahkan dan panjang banget rasanya. Akhirnya, selesai juga semua tugas-tugas, paper, kerjaan, semua yang ga jelas dari kampus :'). Dan akhirnya.... JUMAT ! Sekarang aku punya waktu buat review scrub yang belakangan ini jadi favoritku, yang selalu nemenin pas mandi dari @sweetcandyscrub . Buat yang ngikutin postingan blog ini, aku udah review beberapa produk rumahan atau skincare yang base nya narural. Bahkan kayaknya aku sempat post foto di instagramku juga tentang produk-produk homemade-natural favoritku. Jadi... ketika @sweetcandyscrub ini DM Instagram mau kirimin produk buat di review, tentu saja, iya!

They sent me this from Yogyakarta to Jakarta, OMG thankyou :') I've got the chocolate varian, and can't even wait for use the product when it arrived safely to my house. Because, yes. I am addicted to chocolate ! I opened the shipment package, and found one cute paperbag like this

This is so cute. I felt like they want to send me a smal lunch with a bread and a jam inside it. As long as I know, this product is quite pricey which is good for your "pocket's health"

Ini lucu banget. Berasa kayak dikirimin bekal makan siang yang isinya roti sama selai di dalamnya. setauku, produk ini ga terlalu mahal, yang artinya bagus juga buat "kesehatan kantong" XD

See, they even sent me the plastic spoon. If somebody (especially my brother) opened this package before me, I'm 100% sure he will think this as cereal or chocolate powder and will definitely drink this lol.

Katanya, scrub ini bisa menghilangkan kulit mati, memberikan manfaat untuk kulit, tanpa pengawet, tanpa pewarna, dan juga aman untuk dipakai oleh anak-anak dan ibu hamil.

Actually, according to the owner that informed me, we can use this scrub for face as a mask, but nah, I have to take care of my sensitive face skin. So this is the powder. I loove the smell. soooo chocolate. I really want to eat this, can't I?

Sebenernya kata owner yang kasih info, scrub ini bisa dipake ke muka jadi masker bubuk gitu. Tapiiiiii berhubung wajahku super sensitif, jadi gabisa kupakai di wajah deh. Jadi ini bentuk bubuknya. Boleh ga si dimakan, duh. wanginya enak bener.

Stir it with some water. just a little bit so the texture is little bit thick.

Aduk dengan air secukupnya, cukup sedikit aja biar tekstur nya agak kental.

Then apply it all over your body. For me, I waited at least 2-3 minutes, rubbed the scrub, then wash it off.

Lalu oles ke seluruh badan, Kalau cara pakaiku, aku diamkan dulu selama 2-3 menit, gosok scrub nya, baru bilas bersih.

I love the texture, I love the smell, I love the sensation and relaxation effect after I use this scrub. The most amazing thing that I like from this scrub is, It doesn't give me any 'oily' sensation like I just put myself in one big bowl of oily soap. I've used the other natural body scrub, and that gave me that kind of sensation. so... yuck. not again. But nah, this scrub is different. My skin felt so smooth after use this scrub, not kind of oily.

Aku suka teksturnya, suka wanginya, suka sensasinya sama efek relaksasi yang kurasain setelah pakai scrub ini. Satu hal yang amazing dan bikin aku suka banget, Setelah pakai ini rasanya kulit jadi halus, bukan halus yang oily berminyak licin kayak abis kejebur ke bak isi sabun minyak gitu, (ngomong apaan sih) aku pernah pakai salah satu natural home made scrub juga, tapi rasanya ya itu. licin licin ga enak. kalau ini beda, Sweet Sugar Scrub ini bikin lembutt banget tanpa kasih efek licin licin gitu.

I have allergies on my skin. I have to be careful and picky for my skincare. Fortunately this scrub doesn't worsen my allergies, which is an addition point for this scrub.

Cathy Doll Ready 2 White, One Day Whitener Body Lotion Review

I've been sooooo busy these days. College life literally wants to kill me (okay, this is too much) Fortunately, I've made some time to update this blog again. From now on, since I am an Indonesian blogger, so I decided to use both English and Bahasa.
Beberapa hari ini aku sibuuuuuukkk banget, Kehidupan mahasiswa bener-bener kayak mau ngebunuh -.- (okay ini lebay). Untungnya, aku bisa nemu waktu yang tepat untuk update blog ini lagi. Kayaknya.... mulai sekarang aku bakal pakai 2 bahasa, yaitu bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia.

Today, I want to give some review about my white booster lotion, Cathy Doll Ready 2 White, One Day Whitener Body Lotion. Well, actually I've used this with the liquid soap, but... I've used that until I forgot that I want to review the liquid soap too. (well yeah so dumb lol) 
Hari ini, aku mau review lotion white boosterku, yaitu Cathy Doll Ready 2 White, One Day Whitener Body Lotion. Uh... sebenernya aku juga pakai ini dengan sabun cairnya, tapi... aku lupa habisin sabunnya sampai lupa aku juga mau review sabunnya. (iya tau kok dodol X'D)

I've downloaded this picture from Cathy Doll Indonesia. Based on the picture, the main ingredients are Glutathione, Arbutin, and Snail Secretion Filtrate. All of this ingredients are believed to give us brighter skin.

Aku download ini dari Cathy Doll Indonesia. Berdasarkan gambar diatas, bahan-bahan utamanya adalah Glutathione, Arbutin, dan Filtrat sekresi siput (?). Semua bahan-bahan utama ini dipercaya memberikan kita kulit yang lebih cerah.

The website even provides us with "how to use" and they show us the texture of this product. Well, these are quite interesting.

Websitenya juga bahkan kasih tau kita tentang cara pakainya dan bahkan kasih liat tekstur dari produk ini. Uhm... kelihatannya sih menarik.

Not only the texture, They even include the before-after comparison pictures and the test of greasiness pictures. At this rate, this product looks so amazing, right?

Ga cuma kasih liat tekstur nya aja, mereka bahkan kasih lihat before-after nya setelah pemakaian, juga greasiness test. Dalam tahap ini, produknya keliatan bener-bener hebat, kan?

So they claim this product can make us brighter just in one day. Only apply it on our skin, and *baaam* you will get brighter skin. well, this effect will vanish after you take a bath of course. But don't worry, they said this product will help you to permanently brighten your skin !

Jadi, mereka bilang produk ini bisa bikin kulit kita lebih cerah hanya dalam 1 hari. Cuma tinggal pakaikan di kulit, trus *baaam* kulitmu bakal keliatan lebih cerah. uhmm ya sebenernya sih efeknya bakal hilang sehabis kamu mandi. Tapi jangan kuatir, katanya sih, asal kalian rutin pakainya, produk ini akan membantu mencerahkan kulitmu secara permanen.

Actually, is it really true?

Sebenernya.... bener ga sih?

It is mine. The bottle contains 150ml lotions. It costs IDR 288.000 (maybe you can get the cheaper one from the other online shop). I think this is too expensive, since I bought this with the soap too. It costed at least IDR 500.000 because I bought the liquid soap too.

Ini punyaku. Isi botolnya 150ml, harganya Rp. 288.000 (sebenernya mungkin bisa dapet lebih murah kalau beli di online shop lain). Ini mahaaaaaaaalll banget buatku, soalnya beli bareng sabunnya. Kira-kira bisa ngabisin Rp. 500.000, soalnya aku beli sama sabun cairnya juga.

Cathy Doll Ready 2 White products are not only the lotion and the liquid soap. There are facial foam, milky pack for face, and also moisturizer. Yeah, you can imagine how much money you will need to buy all of these products. (well, you have to sacrifice something to get and maintain your beautiful skin, right?) 

Produk dari Cathy Doll Ready 2 White ini ga cuma 2 doang. ga cuma sabun sama lotionnya. Masih ada maskernya, sabun cuci mukanya, pelembabnya, dan iya, semuanya kasih efek lebih putih gitu. Bisa bayangin ga berapa uang yang harus kamu keluarin buat beli semua seriesnya? Ampun, aku ga kuat XD. (Yah... kamu harus ngorbanin sesuatu buat ngerawat kulit biar tetep cantik, kan?)

This is the bottle, and the lotion comes from that small tip. You can slightly smell the sweet fragrance.

After I applied it on my skin, you can see the difference between my skin, right? You can't see it clearly? So let's move to the "using flash" picture.

Setelah dipakai ke kulit, kalian bisa lihat bedanya di kulitku kan? Ga keliatan jelas, kah? Kalau gitu langsung liat aja foto yang pakai flash.

Yuhuu~ The front one looks brighter than the back one right? Like a half of my hand looks brighter.

Lets move to another pictures. I applied it on my left leg. As you can see, my left leg looks brighter than the right leg.

So, yes, actually I love this lotion. It makes my skin looks brighter just in one touch. I use this product for my instant whitening booster. It is also waterproof. I mean, as long as you don't touch soap or rub too hard, The white effect will last longer. BUT, for me, I don't like the sensation every time I've applied it on my skin. It kinda likes... using too much thick foundation to all over your skin. That feeling usually disappears after 10-15 minutes, tho.

Jadiiiii, iya aku suka pakai ini. Kelihatan jadi lebih cerah, dan biasanya aku pakai kalau lagi butuh keliatan putih. contoh: pesta. Ini juga waterproof, ya selama ga dipakein sabun atau digosok kenceng-kenceng, sih. TAPI, buatku, aku ga terlalu suka sama sensasinya pas baru abis pake. Kayak kita pakein foundation super tebel ke satu badan. Ya... rasa kayak gitu bakal ilang setelah 10-15 menit, sih sebenarnya.

I've said this before, I've used this lotion with the liquid soap, regularly, everyday. I like the results how these products gradually increased my skin tone. (why past tense? well... I'm not using the liquid soap again, since I have to use baby soap, so my allergies get itchier everyday, And I've got darker again because of my last holiday to Bali).

Seperti yang udah kubilang sebelumnya, ku pakai lotion ini barengan sama sabunnya, rutin, tiap hari. Suka sih sama hasilnya dulu. Ini bener-bener secara bertahap naikin skin tonenya. (kok dulu? iya... aku udah ga pake sabun cairnya lagi. Aku harus pakai sabun baby biar ga tambah gatel alerginya. Selain itu, kulitku juga udah makin gelap lagi, belang malah, gara-gara terakhir liburan ke Bali)

• It has sweet fragrance, sooo milky, but I think also like... flower-ish fragrance? [wanginya manis. kayak susu banget, tapi kayaknya berasa wangi bunga juga deh .______.]
• Long-lasting, the effect can stay for one day if you don't use soap, take a bath, or rub your skin too hard [tahan lama, bisa tahan satu harian, loh! selama ga disabunin, ga mandi, atau gosok terlalu kenceng]

Earthly Creations Detoxifying Clay Mask Review

Hi ! I haven't update this blog for a looongggg time. Okay, I'm sorry 😂 but today I want to review one of my favourite clay mask from @earthly.id . They give me one, and I fell in love with this mask.

Maybe some of you already know that I looovee natural handmade skincare, especially for clay mask. I have serious skin allergies. So I think it's better for me to choose the natural handmade mask for my face, plus, this habbits help the local business, right? ;)

So, yea, this as you can see from the photo, I choose the Detoxifying one. This mask is a clay mask, you have to wait until it feels hard on your face (10 until 20 minutes) and you can wash it off.

So I wear this mask a little bit thicker, well, don't ask me why because I like it better lol. Yes, forgive my swollen face. I have been sleeping for this whole not-productive-holiday.

This is what inside the jar. You can see the dark colour, it's because this Detoxifying Clay Mask contains activated carbons.

Earthly Creations told me that this mask is for skin detox, so it cleans our face from toxic and free radical. Especially for the one who often wear makeups. I love makeups. I often wear some daily makeups. Also, Earthly Creations claim this mask can brighten the face skin.

This is me right after I use the mask. My face looks brighter and it feels soo clean and soo light. When I touched my face, it was so soft and smooth. The best thing is, I didn't have any breakout effects after I use this mask. (Well, my face is quite sensitive)

This mask also reduce my pimples. I kinda depressed when my baby-white-skin can't afford my makeups routine. So, yea, this mask helps.

The jar contains 50gr clay mask and you can buy it with affordable price. It is only IDR 60.000 and you can buy this directly from @earthly.id

So my conclusion :
If you love clay mask, have a sensitive face skin, daily makeup routines and want to brighten your face, maybe you can choose this natural handmade product.

Why? I think Earthly Creations could make better labels for better packaging, because the design is cute already but the labels obviously being cut by hand. They could make some cute boxes for they amazing mask too !

Provable Nature - Milk Smoothie Mask Review

Hi! Today I want to review about my another natural local brand, Provable Nature - Milk Smoothie Mask. Since my skin have been daker (as I mention on previous post) I decided to buy all of those whitening and brightening skincare to bring back my bright-white skin.

I bought this mask from @lovemybeauty29 2-3 weeks ago for only IDR 50.000 and they gave me free mask brush. Actually, since high school, I usualy use MABUK ORGANIK greentea mask for my mask powder, but, as a woman, I want to try another brand too! XD

This mask came with a cute packaging. The milk ones have a blue color for the stickers, and they use somekind of jam jar, I think? Lately some organic local brands use this jar for their masks, too.

I have my own mask kit (I bought them from one store at ITC Cempaka Mas), so I use this kit to apply my mask

This is what inside the jar. It looks like vanilla milk powder, right? Yup, even the texture is same as vanilla milk powder lol. I even suspect this mask actually baby's milk powder, since It has the same scent as baby's milk powder :p

When I applied it to my face, I'm surely wanna lick this mask. I love the smell, though. I love milky scent and milky texture

so I put 1-2 teaspoon (if you using the same mask kit as mine, take your mask using 5ml teaspoon twice), mix it with pure water or you can use rose water. If necessary, you can add some lemon juice or honey to your mixture. Take your mask brush, and apply it gently to your face. Wait your mask until it dries, and last, wash them off with warm water.

so this is me before I use the mask on. I already wash my face and use my peeling gel (I use Faceshop, and I'll review it later)

I like this mask, the color, the scent, the texture, I've used this mask for 3-4 times and now my skin is brighter than before. My skin also felt so soft after I use this mask.

The Bath Box Goats Don't Lie Liquid Soap Review

I've been a natural beauty enthusiast since I found a lot of pretty cute natural beauty products from instagram. First, I still afraid to try them, since they don't have any "BPOM". Honestly, I am a little bit afraid to use some "non BPOM" products. FYI, BPOM means Medicine and Food Supervisory Organisation.

But since I know those natural products come from real natural recources and also I've seen a lot of reviews and testimonials from other bloggers, So I think I would try one.

The first time I use these natural local brands was when I won one giveaway from PrettyRecipe. I felt so lucky ! I won one Yummy Lip Scrub from Gulaco and one Lychee Lip Balm from Jar of Beauty. I'll review them later, and anyway. I started to follow a lot of natural local brand products in Instagram. And... I found out Goats Don't Lie from The Bath Box at PrettyRecipe's Instagram. so, I decided to bought that. I try the little one, since I have a very serious super itchy allergic. Why I want to try this product? well... The Bath Box claim that Goats Don't Lie is really good for allergic, eczema, and also for sensitive skin, even some of their customers use it for their babies! So, HEY, I'm curious!

This is Goats Don't Lie size 250ml. This one is the smallest size from their liquid soap products. Goats Don't Lie liquid soap is unscented, When you apply it to your body, it smells like... sour milk, I think? Yet, It smells soft but still... I don't really like the scents, but nvm, since I found this product is soo amazing !

I bought the 500ml ones, since I've ran out the 250ml. As I mentioned before, I have a lot of super itchy allergic and those are in my upper legs up to my back side. Could you imagine that? Sometimes It'll feels too itchy when I've walk for a long time or doing something that makes my body full of sweat. Allergic mix those annoying sweat? do you think you can handle that? Even when I took a bath to remove those itchy feelings, It won't go from my skin, It still feels so itchy.

It was different when I tried Goats Don't Lie Liquid Soap. This product really calms my super itchy allergic. I don't have to scratch my allergic again and again 'till it bleeds (I'm screwed up, it was so fucking frustating). When I felt too sweaty and my itchy allergic was going crazy, I quicly took a bath using this liquid soap, until now, I still do that. 

After using one 250ml bottle of Goats Don't Lie, my allergic is all dryed up. I don't feel the allergic is so itchy again. The redness are all gone from my upper leg and backside. I don't have to scratch them out until they bleed.

The texture is different from another liquid soap. This one feels so liquid, almost like water. the color is somewhat like brown.

This soap won't give you any bubbles. I mean, It only produce just only a little bubbles, really little, literaly. the Bath Box said, you have to use the propper Shower Puff if you want more bubbles.

The packaging is pretty simple yet looks so elegant with their black-yellow label. The pump bottle is also ease me to use this soap.

Now I'm using the 500ml size. Since I use this soap for myself, I won't buy the 1ltr size :') It will be too much for me. Maybe later, after my mom and my dad found out this amazing product, I will buy the 1ltr size for my family :D

What I like from Goats Don't Lie Liquid Soap from The Bath Box

- calms my skin

- reduce my itchy feelings

- reduce my redness because of blood and scratching too much

- feels so fresh and clean after take a bath

- the unscented and natural ingredients

Espoir Secret Eyelid Tape - Purple Size Review

I am an Asian girl (Chinese actually) that have monolid. Yes, I don't have double eyelids so it was really annoyed me when I have to use thick eyeliner for my small eyes. When my eyes are open, They'll look good, but when they're close, You'll see me as a ghost lol. To have downward-slanted eyes are really troublesome for me. Fortunately some clever people invented "eyetape" long long year ago.

Using Eyetape for me is a MUST. sometimes, I feel too lazy to put my eyetape, but when I can't use my eyeliner naturaly, I changed my mind and decided to wear my eyetape again.

As you know, some eyetapes are really "silky" I mean, the texture is not quite good when you want to put your eyeshadow. Some eyetapes have better texture, so you can put your eyeshadows and blend them easily, but still, I think they still looks un-natural.

I also always use my soft lenses to make my eyes bigger than their actual size. At least, my eyes and my face didn't look so pale and small.

So, I'm so glad that people nowadays invented "magic eyetape" or "invisible eyetape". First, I know these kind of tape from the famous beauty blogger, Stella Lee. Her product's name is Starry Light. I already tried them once, but unfortunately, those eytapes are too big for my eyes. Actually, I can just cut it from their actual size and put them to my small eyes, but surely, I am too lazy to do that, ofc. Using those kind of eyetapes already wasting my time. I really hope that I don't need to cut them and wasting more time.

So, I really glad when I know that some aquitances of me (I knew her from online shop shoutout groups) sells the same magic eyetapes but with various types. You also can take a look for her Instagram here.

Espoir Secret Eyelid Tape has 3 types of eyetapes, Pink Size which is the bigger ones (the size is same as Starry Light Eyetape), Yellow Size (I see this size on Espoir_id's instagram but I think this size is already sold out) and the last one, Purple Size which is the new product from Espoir.

One pack contains 75 eyetapes, which means somekind of 37 pairs, and one eyetape glue.

Overall, I like the simple packaging. I like the longlasting glue and also, the glue is quite good. It didn't leave any sticky feeling after I put it on my eyes.

Can you see my bigger eyes? This purple size is look so natural for my small eyes. The best part is, no need to cut it down to adjust the size for my small eyes.

These eyetapes also look almost invisible, but, I really have to use my eyeliner to hide some spots from these eyetapes.

as you see, these kind of eyetape have net patterns. Because of these net patterns, you can easily blend your primer, eyeshadows and your eyeliner without any hesitate. They'll still look so natural and invisible to your eyes.

My eyes have different size. The right ones is smaller than the left ones because it has thicker skin. Sometimes, my right eye will looks more smaller than the right eye even I already use this tape, so I use another invisible eyetape to make my right eyelid deeper and make it same with the left eye.

These are fiber eyetapes. I bought them from doublesweet13's stand at Artha Gading Mall. At first, I don't think these kind of eyetapes will help my eyes because these are too small and too thin. But, they're really perfect match for my purple size Espoir Secret Eyelid Tape !

Look at this small and thin thing. No, I don't wear them like this, ofc. How can I put it on my eye if they're still on their stick form?

 I have to pull the stick and the invisible and thin fiber will comes out. I use these fiber eyetapes right above my secret eyelid tapes to make my eyelids deeper.

As you can see, this is my right eye and I already used both my secret eyelid tape and fiber eyelid tape.

I only took my right eye photo, but FYI, my right eye already had the same size with my left eye after I used both of them.

I combine them with my eyeshadows, eyeliner, upper lashes, and also lower lashes. This is my final look. I use them to attended my cousin's party.

I finally can find perfect tapes for my "difficult" eyes.

What I like:

- unlike other eyetapes, Espoir Secret Eyelid Tapes give me natural eyelid.

- Make my eyes bigger

- they can lift even the thick monolid's skin

- almost invisible

- I can use and blend my eyeshadow easily on them

- I can combine it with another eyetapes (fiber eyetapes)

- the glue is really good. It doesn't make my skin feels itchy or somewhat else

- the glue is longlasting. I can even use it for one day full without any repairment.

What I don't like:

- still wasting my time. I have to put these eyetapes for 15-20 minutes.

- I have to use my eyeliner to hide the net patterns that sometimes still left at the bottom.

Definitely, YES. because this eyetapes are really helpfull (also with the fiber eyetape too)
